Ingredients
1. Coconut Oil – 1tbsp
2. Mustard – ¼ tsp
3. Uzhunnu Parippu/Urad Dal – 1tsp
4. Curry Leaves – 1 or 2strings
5. Chopped Shallots/Cherullii – 8nos
6. Vattal Mulak/Dry Red Chili – 3nos
7. Chopped Ginger – ½ tsp
8. Chopped Green Chilli – 3nos
9. Chopped Onion – 1medium size
10. Chopped Carrot – 2nos
11. Shredded Cabbage – ½ of one medium sized
12. Salt – To taste
13. Turmeric Powder – ¼ tsp
14. Grated Coconut – 1cup
Instructions
1. Heat oil in a pan, Add mustards, Uzhunnu Parippu,Curry Leaves Chopped Shallots and Dry Red chillies
2. When shallots begins to turn into slight brown colour add Chopped Ginger,Green Chilli,Onion,Carrot
and shredded Cabbage. Add some salt and turmeric powder.
Mix them well for 1minute in medium flame.
3. Now make the stir fry altogether,Close and Cook for 6-8minutes
After 8mins open the lid and check whether it’s cooked and wheather it’s water content
Is dried. If it is not cooked,Cook in low flame without the pan lid.
Now Our Simple and Easy Cabbage Thoran/Stir fry is ready
