Ingredients
1. Karimeen/PearlSpot fish – 2nos
2. Red Chilli Powder – 1 ½ tbsp (Adjust acoording to your spice level)
3. Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp
4. Black Pepper Powder – 1 or 2 tsp
5. Lemon Juice or Vinegar – 1tbsp
6. Ginger Garlic Paste – 1tbsp
7. Coconut Oil – For paste making as required
8. Salt – To taste
9. Water – 1tbsp
10. Curry Leaves string – For making frying bed
Instructions
1. Clean and make 3-4 slits on each side of the fish. Wash thoroughly.
2. To make masala paste mix the red chilli powder,turmeric powder,pepper powder,ginger garlic paste,lemon juice ,salt along with water and make it a thick paste. Marinate the fish with this masala and refrigerate it for around 30mins.
3. Heat oil in a pan or tawa , place some strings of curry leaves and place the marinated fish on top. Fry for about 6 to 12 minutes on low heat.
4. Flip the fish to other side and fry it for 6 to 12minutes
5. When both sides of the fish becomes golden brown in colour remove it from the pan and serve it hot!!!!
