Kadai Chicken | Restaurant Style



Ingredients 

For Chicken Marination 

1.  Chicken – 750grams 
2.  Salt - To Taste 
3.  Ginger Garlic Paste – 1Tbsp 
4.  Red Chilli Powder – 1tsp 

For Kadai Masala 

1.  Red Chillies – 3Nos 
2.  Coriander Seeds – 1Tbsp 
3.  PepperCorns – 1Tbsp 
4.  Fennel Seeds – 1Tbsp 
5.  Cumin Seeds – 1Tbsp

 

For Kadai Chicken Preparation 

1.  Ghee/Oil – 4Tbsp 
2.  Garlic – 4-5 cloves crushed 
3.  Ginger – 1inch thinly sliced 
4.  Turmeric – ½ tsp 
5.  Coriander Powder – 1Tbsp 
6.  Jeera Powder – 1tsp 
7.  Red Chilli Powder – 2tsp 
8.  Tomatoes – 3-4 chopped medium sized 
9.  Salt 
10.  Water 
11.  Curd – ½ cup 
12.  Fresh Cream – 2Tbsp 
13.  Garam Masala – 1tsp 
14.  Capsicum – 1medium size diced 
15.  Onion – 1medium size diced 
16.  Green Chillies – 1-2Nos 
17.  Fresh Coriander – 2Tbsp 


Instructions 

1.  Take chicken and add salt,ginger garlic paste,red chilli powder and mix well. And Marinate for 15minutes.


2.  Dry roast red chilli,coriander seeds,peppercorns,fennel seeds,cumin seeds for 1-2 minutes.And Grind into a powder to make KADAI MASALA.


3.In a kadai pan add the marinated chicken into ghee/oil. Cook on medium high heat for 10-12 minutes.


4.  Cover and cook 7-8 minutes while stirring in intervals.


5.  Add garlic,ginger,turmeric,coriander powder,Jeera powder,red chilli powder and KADAI MASALA 1Tbsp . Mix well.


6.  Add tomatoes,salt stir and cook for 3-4 minutes . Add hot water and bring it to boil. Cover and cook until tomatoes are nicely incorporated into the gravy.


7.  Lower the heat and add the curd .Stir and cook until ghee/ooil separates. Add fresh cream. Mix well and add garam masala.

8.  Add Capsicum,Onion ,Green chillies,Coriander and cook for 2minutes. Kadai Chicken is ready to serve Enjoy!!!!!!!
